Victoria’s Song

Riaan Smit 1988 (Windhoek)

I never said goodbye,
said hello too few times
Your memory still alive
Deep in my mind.

The good ones they go too soon
There are few who were as good as you
there’s not much we can do
But mourn blue eyes

Who wont remember, a heart so tender?
Who won't realize that you’re gone?

Your smile would light up the darkest of days
Only kindness lived in the words that you said
No one was ever really prepared
To sing, Victoria’s song
V2
In my sadness I’m not alone
There’s hole in the world that can’t be closed
When we lose a heart of gold
It's hard to let go

Rest in peace kind beautiful soul
May you find your way to the new mystical world
You touched the lives of everyone you know

Chorus
V3
Her memory will live on
As long we remember her name
She’s never really gone
Her memory will remain

In memory of Victoria- Anne Kirby
