Broadway

Between birth & death
We live and die with hope
Along a point
It’s there that I met you

at a Broadway show,
taking the short power trip ride
to witness the burned acts
The charred memories on stage
of whining characters
It’s a crazy place, my dear

I shall overcome it tonight
Soaked in rough dreams
You’re such a soft beast; after all
I’m a lost theme, and you are the star
And no one knows who you are

Just me, myself & I
in a single-seat show from Inside a cubicle
The final curtain is what I fear
Exposing me to face you
Imagination is an understatement
in this classic Broadway drama
