EVERYONE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Everyone is after the same damn thing only a few are not afraid to chase the tail of the dragon yet only one can be the true king we all know the end result of this life and that is why some of us are afraid to die so get on that paper plane and fly

The man has us working our fingers to the bone barking orders never leaving us the hell alone playing favorites while being unaware of the war paint that some of us are starting to wear some are brave enough to write on his walls there are no kings and you are no fucking god as we yell there is no longer any power in your house

I am not like everyone I am still kicking and screaming you might have killed their spirit but I am not dead send everyone to the heavens right before our eyes to renew the lease on their soul that they so thoughtlessly sold
