FINDING MY WAY BACK HOME

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Where is this light coming from if it is not from the sun or the moon? these tears sometimes fall along this path without any type of warning somewhat like how a summer storm just comes and goes. the questions to the answers no one really knows.

The silence continues to be the only sound that gives me clues on how I can find my way back home to a place that may or may not exist yet the reality of it gets lost inside of my mind allowing the feeling of home to warm my dying heart and pieces together the peace of a place that I have missed as a child.

There is a single star in the sky that calls my name as I try with all my soul to remember where it is that I exactly come from when I find myself coming undone searching for my home and those open arms that once held so much enjoyment of feeling loved.

The silence I am feeling is the thunder that lays deep within my heart and the lightening in my eyes is finding my way back home
