Words Unspoken

Words unspoken.
But your eyes understood.
No denying the emotions.
Not even if we could.
2 hearts. 1 connection.
How could this be?
You’re with her, you can’t love me!
So why do we torture?
Craving what we can’t have.
This is not the plan.
We can’t choose our path.
So I ease away, with pain in my heart
How did we get like this? How did this start?
The thought of you, sends a wave down my spine
5 days & Eight hours is never enough time.
See that’s the thing. I felt this before.
Repetitive emotions, my heart can’t endure
Do I follow my heart
Or do I follow my mind?
Because it seems to be a waste of our time
This high is temporary
And we both know
Will our love be a memory
Or will it grow?
Your lips. Your laugh. Your eyes & touch.
I hold near to my heart
I treasure you, so much
I can’t help but to think, does your heart feel the same?
Is this all in my head? Or, are we truly sync?
Questions that will go unheard
But my heart will still feel
You’re my person. You’re so ideal.
This is what scares me,
The bond that we share
I just need you to say it
Please, just show me you care!
I’m patient with you
because your heart is so weak
I want to cater to you
And listen when you speak
Your name lives in my body,
I feel connected to you
But I’m silently broken
Because you don’t feel it too.
Words. Unspoken.
