Words Can Hurt (more than you know)

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

See how much you hurt yourself?
When you say I don’t care
You act as if you’re only
Throwing words into the air

That’s not the way you see it
When those words are said to you
It’s more like chopping onions
As you throw them in the stew
