Friendly Guise in nature

Neetha Gamage 1974 (Sri Lanka)

Verdant pastures lie peaceful
In the twittering chilly breeze
All, a genuine company to embrace
Lulled by the ardent sophistries
Tapping on the window -sill
Patting on every being met before and after
All journeys of timely significance
Driven by the thoughts  so fanciful
Of the days gone by
Sweet smelling of the flowered beds
A lovely shake, the rising wind
Like some old friends
Keep nodding me
Of the joys that are to come
Nothing in the air so blue
To call a soft deceitful vile
Nature is full of colours
For all to be enticed
None could be melancholy
When there's company
Nature gives it thus
When human  deprives us

About this poem

Nature is so bountiful since it is immensely profuse to describe its significance from supply of food and shelter to other needs and unforgettably the friendly nature as how we see it in the company of it as how it seems to nod or pat by doing the things as it does make more a friend than a false being.
