Giving Image

What appears one has with image to give it.
Upon a wide field of competitors.
May only be,
What one has to possess.
Nothing more but much less,
To offer that achieves...
Other than image to address.

Image to give it to impress an imitating kept.
Is just what it is.
An imitation.
Empty of substance.
Yet pretentiousness there is in full abundance.
Surviving to thrive in the eyes of many.
Until the many begin to realize,
Having to keep high expectations...
Would never come to satisfy,
By one giving the image.
But nothing more is stored in the mind,
Besides attention to get.
When the image to give it reminisced,
Has noticeably aged...
To have captured times long gone.
From one giving a remembered image.

Attempting to prolong,
What is not there to exist.
On a field of competitors,
Obviously better qualified...
To achieve and meet,
The demands needed...
Today!
And not the past to have had accomplished.

To either exaggerate, embellish or fiction!

'So...
Who is in a better physical condition,
To serve you best?
The bragging about what they've done?
Or the one who has proven,
They have been tested...
Over and over again,
That a contest to win...
Facing opposition,
Means remaining to stay prepared.'

'That's a good question.
But I have never been into images.
I follow the ones who deliver results!'
