I wish

No ocean to flood my boundaries,
No bandages to my wombs,
No fire as my air,
When my wind has left the room.
Stable from standing,
No energy to filter me,
Lord where is my love,
My own heart abandoned thee,
Oh how I wish the flowers I could see,
If only the rain could touch my skin,
Wash away the scent I don't want to breath,
Lord how I wish,
I thought I could imagine,
My own strength being beautiful
And my smile returning gladly
