Offensive Assumptions

If someone says or do something done,
That is taken to be meant...
As offensive and purposely,
For no other reason but to intend disrespect.
Shouldn't the correct approach,
Be to ask why?
Insread of jumping to conclusions.
And assuming,
The next step to take would be to isolate...
That which has offended to assume.
Is better left to ignore,
Communicating to reach...
Comprehension, understanding.
And a lesson to learn that teaches,
What is misunderstood...
Is as childish as assumptions to make,
Without facing...
The why and reason it is quicker,
To feel upset and offended first.
