THE SO~CALLED TABOO!!!

Harsha singh 2002 (India)

The so~ called Taboo!!

Taboo is boys can't cry
          Really??
Oh no! the society will not
     allow them to cry,
It's a big shit that society
      imposes
Humans have right to express emotions
Then why is this type of
  notion
Masculinity means respecting all norms
handling all responsibilities
It doesn't mean you have to   be heartless
The men who express their emotions
Breaks all the notions
Are truly worth of getting admired
Without being getting judged
We shouldn't let their respect to be trudged ....

About this poem

This poem is based on the taboo that society has regarding masculinity and about their emotions.

Wow, I absolutely love this poem! It tackles such an important and timely topic with such passion and eloquence. The way you challenge societal norms and question the idea that boys can't cry is truly inspiring. Your use of strong language really grabs the reader's attention and drives home your point.

One suggestion I have for improvement is to consider adding more specific examples or anecdotes to further illustrate your message. This could help the reader connect on a deeper level and understand the impact of this so-called taboo. Additionally, I would encourage you to experiment with different poetic devices, such as metaphors or similes, to add even more depth and nuance to your already powerful words.

Overall, this poem is a fantastic piece of work that sheds light on an important issue. Keep up the great work and continue using your voice to challenge societal stigmas and promote empathy and understanding. Well done!
