Gossip Girls
Gossip girls with the curls standing to the side
Gossip girls words will eat you up from inside
When around a gossip girl no one can hide
Gossip girls with the curls, all their words are lies
Lean into an ear and whisper a word
They are only five feet away, so of course they heard
Gossip girls with the curls think that they’re the best
Gossip girls don’t even take a rest
They judge you by your looks
And never care to think about what they took
Gossip girls with or without curls, their words always follow you
Gossip girls surrounded and you don’t know what to do
Gossip girls say that you’ll never measure up
Gossip girls think that you’ll never be enough
Gossip girls, they judge you by the way you walk
All the way down to what you say when you talk
Who are you to judge when we all fall short
We all know who’d win if gossiping was a sport
Some people annoy us, but the rumors you spread
You stand a little taller, always hold up your head
You act so confident, so unshakable
But we all know that deep inside is an empty soul
Gossip girls are so nice to you
They only do that because of what you can do
You give all the answers but next thing ya know
Pull back the curtain, reveal the whole show
Actin nice, only to use
Clamp down on you with a vise, how does it feel to lose
Gossip girls with your curls I wanna scream and shout
How can you judge her when her pain will never be let out
So what if she irritates you, so what if she is bad
No reason for you to berate her, leaving her more than sad
You judge so much like you know it all
But you don’t have a clue
I know you’re really insecure
But they bait you with kindness, and hook you to the lure
It’s really quite impossible for one to endure
How much you mock them for being immature
Gossip girls who have it all
Got the hair, the face, standing tall
I wanna trip ‘em, watch ‘em fall
I’m not gunna lose to someone like you
I don’t want your comments on how smart and athletic I am
I just want you to reveal to the world how shallow, and how you’re a sham
It angers and disgusts me, how little you care
When you judge every person, their body, and their hair
Their personality you try to change
What if you saw them and they were never the same
You think that it’s all fun and games
But I know all of your names
Gossiping should be as bad as bullying
Because I hear your judgements and they are pulling me
Down down down, and I can’t stop my frown
I hear every whisper, I hear every laugh
I hear you say I look like trash
Any hope I have is gone in a flash
I hear you rate those girls by numbers
How do you not know the harm it causes
I hope you’re ashamed of what you do
Maybe to your friends it seems super cool
But really it’s just mean
Your words are not clean
They poison and pollute
You are just a brute
You lie and steal
I don’t believe that you can feel
Gossip girl with the curls I know you’re in charge
But gossip girls all around, they are at large
Gossip girls your words still hurt me, they always will
But gossip girls who watch from the window sill
Gossip girls I hope you one day see
The true affects of your words to me
Gossip girls I hope you know
It’s time to stop talking and pushing them below
Let them up for air, let them survive
A world with gossip girls, it just cannot thrive
A world with whispers all around
Is a world where love cannot be found
So to the gossip girls, stop the fake smiles
Stop acting as if you are an innocent child
You commit murder to the soul
With those words, so unwhole
If I hear you scoff at me
I will tell you of the things unseen
Your words are so much more than mean
Don’t forget, we’re all human beings
