Those Googly Eyes

Those Googly Eyes
Our brains are swimming through billions of digital decisions every analog second
Thousands of orchestras playing at the same time in our minds, calming voices of unity
Black and white portals, clear as day, filled with rattling eyes that don't see a thing

All sizes, big to small, heaped up in bundles, packets, lose in piles, always ready to use
Or just a couple lying around, like sunny side eggs, in a round take away container
Without the dynamic brain mind sitting in a sea of forever chemicals, and bodily fluids

Always looking but not seeing, static sight glued onto cloth bound animals, dolls, creations
Unlike real eyes that follow the movements before them, googly eyes sense nothing
Unmoved by the life around them, they only move with the movement of their own eyes

Floating in the head, a sea of neurons, resembling man o wars, long dendrites trailing
Each neuron brain cell singing songs of a million interconnected independent voices
The chemical bath we call home, electrically sways our decision makers views of reality

Those unlit painted eyes, found on multitudes of creations, sewn or thrown together
Beaming friendship, unlike wandering eyes, googly eyes never lie, steal or cheat
A simple job, giving hope, life, and happiness, to those who hold them in their arms
