Story of a Fierce Queen

Aylin 2006 (Bangalore)

Strangled in her own thoughts,
Ignoring the words being said to her, Feeling a little lost,
Finding her way back home
Or to a place far away from our thoughts, In a field of white roses,
Across the gentle stream,
Cold breeze passing by her milky white skin,
She walked down the field,
Her body bruised because of the thorns, Her face bearing an angelic smile,
But her eyes showed the pain of a broken heart,
Every thorn that pierced through her skin, Reminded her of every possible time she was sabotaged in her heart,
The enormous amount of blood she shed, Weeping through the pain of her loss,
Her blood making her path to the future, She bore the scars with pride and the thorns as her crown,
The angel who was once known as the daughter of peace,
Changed into the Goddess of War,
She walked proudly to the kingdom of her own.
