Your voice is home

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

"Am I clear now?" I asked my God
"Just a little bit more" he whispered
And all his love poured into my head
Past love then desires instead
But then I wondered from my bed
I searched for the light
And relieved my bladder to the night
I hoped I wouldn't get much badder
Then I found a hidden ladder and door
That led to you and so much more
For you were home and watching cartoons
Just like the old days when we used to
I asked " have you been in here before"
You said "yes" and " come and explore"
