What Kind Of Fool

Just what kind of fool,
Do you take me for?
The kind to laugh at; backstab?
Then expect me to answer,
Your knock on my door.
Open it and invite you inside.
Hoping to have you disrespect me more?
What kind of fool do you take me for?

What kind of fool do you think and believe,
I am to be?
The kind that will do anything for you.
As you lie about me to everyone to do.
Then have them accuse me,
For things you did to others you have done?
Without telling the truth.
Or other misdeeds to deceive and mislead,
With that mind of yours...
In need of serious therapy.

And...
I am just that kind of a fool,
To say this to you close and in you face.
Not to laugh, demean or backstab.
In public like you do to me and others too!
With those you accept to believe,
Are your friends.
Using you as their fool.
To do the same thing to you!

What kind of fool do you take me to be?
Like you?
That I am not.

Me?
I am a forgiver not a forgetter of stupidity!
With a doing everyday,
Hoping.
God understands and looks the other way.
While I do they best I can,
To keep my mouth shut.
Whenever a fool like you,
Appears at my door to show up laughing!

'What kind of fool is this?'

'Huh?
You say something?'

'Just...
Praying.
That's all.'
