Life

Oh life, how much more do you want to be feared?
We are subjected to dance to your rhythm and tune.
We do not get to decide, to speak or even to be heard .
Our lives, a  fiasco that fumes.
You make your choice and pick out your favorites,
And the rest of us , for you, becomes an oversight.
You are truly unfair.
For with every step we stagger in despair.
Life as we know it, a toss that never ends.
But I hope that regardless of all these, you never settle for it’s vice.
For we fall to rise,
We rise to light,
Our light to shine,
And our shine, we can make bright.
