LIFE

Debbie Middaugh AKA TURBO1904 1963 (San Diego, CA.)

 When you're at your
Lowest of lows.
  We all know how
The story goes.

  Down on your luck,
Can't catch a break.
  No matter what,
Can't get a fair shake.

  Depression eats away,
At the sane mind.
  Physical dexterity,
On the decline.

  The mind full of dark
Thoughts and things.
  Can't even fly with
These broken wings.

  I sit and ponder, what
Will become of me.
  Held captive by
The powers that be.

  Sixty years old and
All alone.
  I rented a room,
Don't have a home.

  Never expected to be
Old and solo.
  Even the LONE Ranger
Had Tonto.

  Yet, here I am solo
And lonely.
  All alone a one
Trick pony.

  I did not see old
Age coming.
 Life just keeps,
Things humming.
