In Christ alone, I will rely

I have done all that I know to do
I don’t know what is next
You said don’t work for food that spoils
It’s right there in the text

You’ve closed the door on every job
That would have paid me money
So now I’m volunteering Lord
To me that seems so funny
While evil men still prosper
As they gather up their wealth
I only seem to be concerned
About my spiritual health

I know someday this too shall pay
Though right now I must suffer
But in the end my life depends
On you Lord there’s no other
