When we weep, Jesus weeps too
Royston 1946 (Reading)
Sorrows flood His soul and tears fill His eyes
as the Son of God grieves with them and cries.
This Man of Sorrows knows all about grief
and seeing how He feels brings us relief.
It is so amazing to think that God cries
and shares our sorrow when a loved one dies.
Holds their hand as they take their final breath
and then walks with them through the Vale of Death
About this poem
John 11:34-36 “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. Jesus wept. Then they said, “See how he loved him!”
