National Park

It is so quiet and peaceful
Time to reflect & let thoughts mull,
Hearing all the sounds of nature
More than just sitting in a pasture
Out amongst the trees & bush
No one to hurry on & say shush
Hear your own inner thoughts
Times like this can’t be bought
No one saying this is boring
No not even the man who’s snoring.

Taking time to listen to the trees
More insightful than a swarm of bees,
Buzzing buzzing round and round,
Not listening to anything but their own sound.
So stop, relax and drop,
Listen to nature’s sounds that never stop.
