What Is A Friend?

Maybe, someone, you've known for years?
Maybe someone you just met?
Maybe, someone, you feel comfortable with?
Maybe, someone, you can tell anything to?

All these qualities are good to have in a friend
No friend comes alike
No friend can replace another
Some friends go but the good solid ones
Always stick by your side

Just the sound of their voice excites me
Just the way they understand you
Just when they have the right words to say
Just when you're on the verge of tears
They know how to make them go away

I've gained friends and I've lost
But to all those that have stuck by me, I cherish
I know life will give me different and more friendships
I can be happy with the ones I got

Friends leave imprints on our hearts
Friends love us
Real friends don't leave you
They will always accept you
Most of all they will always understand you

Wow, what a classic poem about friends !
When you are old and ill in health, where are the friends
    Not many but some !
