Lost love
It feels like only yesterday,
The day I lost you.
Each and every moment whenever your face flashes infront of my eyes,
I tremble.
I put my shivering and cold fingers in my lips covering my mouth slightly,
It doesn't feel right , it never did.
It feels like, you'll just call me out of nowhere like you always did,
And repeat the lame jokes of yours,
Put a smile on my face and make me laugh.
It feels like, you'll just ring the bell on my door and as i open it,
I will see your frowning face, complaining about the traffic,
and the chocolates which you always buy for me on the way.
How am I supposed to believe that you're gone?
I'm sorry, but i don't have the courage to look at the sky and say goodbye.
I'm weak and fragile,
I needed you , you promised to stay till the end.
How am I supposed to believe I can't see you anymore, I can't hold those warm hands?
How am I supposed to be strong and move on,
when the only thing that kept me going was you?
It feels like only yesterday,
The day I lost you.
Each and every moment whenever your face flashes infront of my eyes,
I tremble.
I put my shivering and cold fingers in my lips covering my mouth slightly,
It doesn't feel right , it never did.

About this poem
The poem is about a girl who lost his lover in an accident and is unable to move on from the loss as she loved him very much and he was everything from her. We can feel the real emotions that I tried to put in the lines , if we imagine ourselves as the girl (I pray that no one goes through such situation). I'm asking for it is just for the feels . Believe it or not, I was in tears when I wrote this poem. I hope the person reading it likes it.
