Beneath The Harvest Moon
Summertime is fading fast,
Fall will be here soon.
The summer air is turning cold,
Beneath the Harvest Moon.
The leaves will soon be turning,
The grass will soon be brown.
The sounds of children playing,
Will start to quieten down.
Friends will sit around bonfires,
And laugh and reminiscence,
And talk about good times they had.
I love times like this!
Summertime is fading fast,
Fall will be here soon.
I love it when the air turns cool,
Beneath the Harvest Moon!
About this poem
I was looking at the moon one night when it was actually a harvest moon. It inspired me to write this poem.
