Give thanks to the Almighty

The radiant sun shines with every approach of day,
The things behind dark are swept far away,
It's a fresh dawn from God which we don't have to pay,
Why don't we humble before the Lord and pray,
and give thanks to the Almighty.

The birds of the air sing praise to thank Him,
The nations don't see this and still do sin,
Take charge and pour your gratitude to the brim,
Let us rejoice and always be glad in Thee,
and give thanks to the Almighty.

We end up doing things that constantly come to faults,
They will never succeed without thanking the overall,
Prayers with thanksgiving will save us from this all,
I urge you to change your minds great or small,
and give thanks to the Almighty.

Why have we neglected the one who created us,
Indulging in this world which will come to pass,
These words I tell you always make a fuss,
You will beat the rest and emerge from the last,
and give thanks to the Almighty.

A very good poem about appreciating our everyday things we enjoy in life.
One reason why people care less about giving praise is that they do not know Him personally. Does anybody say grace anymore before a meal ?
    God loves a thankful heart.
