MOMMA
My memories are fond,
You always had a gentle hand.
As I look back and reflect
Just how much you loved me.
From a baby to a brat,
And both my brothers
To a man.
No matter how you felt or feel,
You have never turned your back.
The things I have learned
And the love that I give.
Is by watching you,
Through all these years.
Am so sorry mom,
That there was a time
I caused you so many tears.
I wish everyone,
Had someone
Like you in their lives.
I have been so lucky,
And appreciate all you do.
Without you,
I would have had
Such a miserable life.
I want to thank you,
For all this time.
You always have let me lean on you.
Your life has not been easy,
HELL
I have been watching
For thirty six years.
I know maybe sometimes
I don't show it.
But you have to know,
Just how much I care.
Never asking anything
Of anybody,
And you will never hear you complain.
Maybe some people don't see it
But Momma
I can look into your eyes,
And see all your pain.
I only wish I could fix it,
And make you smile
And the pain go away.
Because if ever
There was a person,
Who deserved it
By far than others,
You would out weigh.
You have taught me
How to be a woman,
Yet am still your little girl.
Momma
I hope you will still,
Be holding my hand
Even after we both,
Leave this world.
