Welcome to the Land of Wolves

We are one
In these forests of the old and deep, our ancestors’ blood has spilled
to set us all free

As time has passed
we meet
your fur as soft as a sheep’s wool
inviting fleas and parasites
your body is like that of a hippo
flying into a rage, when I near
your mind like a naked mole rat
living only to please your queen
hiding away in your maze

Dog
all alone on this lonesome road
roaming over trash
suffering through the decay
always craving more
longing to be free, waiting to be loved
doing anything to soothe the pain
It is all you know, now

I reckon It's time to hack away your chains dog
shed your fur, soar over this world
become the wind that brings spring
and join the wolves
Stand side by side with us
through desolate barren lands
over ridige mountains
down through the deep pits of cold dark ravines
we roam
never to become undone

We are never, ever alone
we all stand as brothers and sisters
to make it better together
with fangs of wisdom
claws of values
and a howling voice for our brothers and sisters

In lands made free with ruby red blood
We must protect
