Lonely Rooms

Lonely Rooms
Shadows cast
In blood moon rays
Sky's blood veins
flow like ink
Echoing off
Smooth skinned walls

Soft buzzing comforts
For silence
Is the sign
Of death

Home so long ago forgotten
Soothing dreams
Remind me
I’m still alive

From within shadows
He emerges
Ghostly, haunting
Terrifyingly beautiful
He wears an enchanting smile

He claims to be the son of the devil
His touch so soft and gentle
As if worried
His mere touch
Would crush me into ash
He held me
Like a mother would an infant
Leaving the lonely rooms behind
“Don’t worry”
“I’ll lead you to heaven’s gates”
His voice is like the moon
Whatever you may be, it is surely not a devil
