Wrong

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

If a wrong known done,
Continues to be refused to accept.
Yet one can not be told or shown,
A wrong done to do...
Will produce the same effect.
The one left upset,
And may be right but should not expect...
Repeating what they do or say,
To another determined to prove...
Whatever it is they do wrong to correct,
Will not get the attention...
A wrong done to correct changes.

'How many times have I told you,
What you do is wrong?'

'That, I do not know.
Although,
If you are right and I am the one that wrong...
Why do you keep repeating,
What it is I do to know it done.
And you are the one left upset?
Wouldn't it be better for you,
To go somewhere else to get...
A different result to expect it?'

'You...
Are a waste of my valuable time!'

'It can't be that valuable,
If you repeatedly continue...
To accuse me of wasting it.
Now who is the one wrong to do that?'

'I don't know what more I can say!'

'That's the first time,
You have said something right.
I agree with.
What took you so long to achieve that result?
And don't blame it on time.
Time you claim is yours to value so much!'

'There are times I wish,
You would just disappear.'

'And there are times I wish,
You would find me less attractive!'

'Well...
You know what they say about opposites?'

'Yeah.
When they come...
Run the other way as fast as possible.'

'I thought we were friends.'

'On my time,
Yes!'
