Porcelain Doll

There was a child with heavens eyes
She played with a teaser coloured like the skies
In a tartan dress, she told no lies
But presented her eyes like gifts of devine
I hardly noticed her glowing in shine
her delicate body, or heart laid bare
So I couldn't help but say Hello there.
And as if I was her mother she stared
Then I left her busy festival of care
There in her tiny heaven I'd dared
Like when I was a child growing up there
She'd been schooled there many long weeks
With her button nose and her rosebud cheeks
Like a blessed child no words passed her lips
She had tiny hands and balancing hips
She'd walked up to me and taken her snipits
Then I scooped up my cherub who was feeling quite sick.
