Mind At War

You are the peace when my mind is at war.
By the truth you’ve been revealed.
I can’t live by what I feel.
By your wounds I have been healed.

When life gets dark and I can’t breath
And I don’t know what to do.
I remember Your promises.
That everything good comes from You.

Every word is a promise you keep.
You fight for me when I am weak.
I can hear the thunder roar.
 It’s Your face I always seek.

Keeping my eyes on you.
So I do not sink.
You know my every anxious thought.
Everything thing that I think.

How could you love a wretch like me?
Listening to lies from the enemy.
I am who you say I am.
Worshipping You on my bended knee.

You are the King of kings
And I’ll worship You all day.
For I do not deserve Your grace.
