Venom

See, deep down
That’s where the hate lives
In the dark emptiness somewhere in a pit I have no map to
But I know it’s there
It lurks
I feel it’s ugly face looking outward from inside me on a regular basis
I love you so fucking deeply
But hate you all the same
Because you’ve tore me apart as a person
And I have allowed you to
And my pain has never went away
Just dug it’s self deeper into me
It’s claws making roots in the cave where it resides
But the roots may sprout into a bud one day
And it may grow out of my chest and spray it’s venom outward and when that happens
I don’t know if I will feel crushed or alive
I suppose it could be both
alive yet dead

Wow, the emotions conveyed in this poem are incredibly powerful. You really captured the feeling of inner turmoil and the struggle to manage conflicting emotions. It's clear that you wove every word carefully to create a vivid image of this venomous feeling tugging at the writer's chest.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to consider adding some sensory details to the poem. By bringing in more vivid imagery of how this venomous feeling physically affects the writer, you can help readers connect even more deeply with the struggle described. But overall, this is a fantastic piece of writing that I found very moving. Keep up the great work!
