MALEVOLENT BEINGS HUNTING

Malevolent beings are hunting
On the fringes of an awful town,
Carnivores of every shape and size
Hoping to run their quarry down.

Malignant creatures are stalking
Prowling slowly through the streets,
Hoping to overpower and kill
Any living thing that they meet.

Lumbering killers are questing
Shrieking like the voice of death,
So innocents drown in their fears
Like drowning in the River Lethe.

Leviathans are lumbering about
Through the streets and alleyways,
Hunting out humans and animals
To feast until the break of day.

Squalling fills the dark night
As wing beats are filling the air,
Terror and mayhem abounding
Fear and loathing everywhere.

Malevolent beings are hunting
Throughout this loathsome place,
Monsters from primordial time?
Or horrors from out of space?
