A Different Way

Tony Kruska 1988 (New York)

There is only so much we can take
We need to see things in a different way
Another choice that we make another lesson we learn
Between good and evil we need to discern
Innocence lost more thoughts to reveal
Arctic shelves melting no more ice for the seal
The rich take advantage of the poor without care
As deforestation says "So long" to the bear
The bombs go up and the trees come down
There's a new way of life it just has to be found
