The Chains of The Past

Tony Kruska 1988 (New York)

Ocean life smell something funny, oh what could it be?
Take a closer look it's all the garbage in the sea
Wonder what's next, so much happening fast
As we cling to materials and things that won't last
Kingdoms will rise and kingdoms will fall
The chains of the past they mean nothing at all
Never knowing what will come you just have to be strong
This moment right here is where you truly belong
