The Willow Tree

The snow is falling all across the town
As a young child is swept by her gown
She, with others are jumping with glee
As they make their way to the Willow Tree
Their shivers turn to smiles as they walk down
As everyone, yes everyone, makes their way around
Small children making a snowman uptown
The parents looking over them, with some tea
The snow is falling all across the tree
People are playing and laughing, no one has a frown
The sound of laughter is the only sound
Everyone wishing this would last longer under the tree
Everyone under this tree has their hearts filled and free
All of their worries turn to smiles as they walk around
The snow is falling around the tree
