waiting to be picked up

then i find out
he is dead.
the obit so much
praise so little
t r u t h

walking i felt
his presence disturbing
my thoughts

surprised you were so wrong?

now you want
even more:
my prayers

you don't deserve

later in bed
i feel your parents
in my thoughts

trying to help you seek
my forgiveness
forgetting that
