movie matinee

return
to Good
put back
what you grabbed
giving to others
the joy
of stolen souls

He bought our sins
suffering secure
on a cross

WTF

the freak
show of salvation

the Passion of Christ
i covered my eyes
with both hands i couldn't
cover my ears too
body crouched in a ball
on the cushioned seat
pressing up i got dizzy
my stomach sour
with nausea waiting
for movie
to end
for His Suffering
pain to end
Plan to continue

with Easter lillies
and cracked eggs
filled with chocolate
resurrected bunnies

take what is
yours now
live forever
keep your joy
ETERNAL
why He loves us
i do not know how

i wrap my mind in foil
sticky and sweet
stomach satiated
satisfaction
salvationized
