MY GODDESS

gregg connolly 1956 (pennsylvania)

MY GODDESS

cruising in my land yacht ,upon man's conveyance, perturbation to my goddess, .
my belching force fouls her lungs, my high speed artery clogs the continuuim of her pulsating life and even takes away life.
the bodily fluids of my fire breathing monster fouls the very essence of our own existence,
but alas she is a forgiving deity, healing herself for our benefit, occasionally warning us with terrifying fury,
only to greet us the next morning with a cheerful glow.
but will EarthMother abandon her most cherished creation?
to save the splendor and jubilance for her rainbow of life that we have set afire,
Shall we be Nietzsche's profligate Last Man or his virtuous Ubermensch.
