Public Sediment

Public Sediment
All that information falling through the web
From out of the clear sky data rains downward
Websites emails articles blogs movies and songs
Unread messages from the past falling off the screen
Words published once forever saved in eternal afterlife

All that flash the first time a messages gets posted
If you even saw them hanging high like a sky rocket
The fate of most when the day is over sinking in the morass
Word veins scattered amidst the collapsing debris of data
The network of life buries more than it exposes

Lurking in the sunken sediment of accidents and riches
Public sentiment knows no bounds hidden only by itself
Tales of freedom not in the book section the streets or the mall
Our thoughts always surviving by the most diligent searches
The web is our digital afterlife where memories have to be mined
