Water Fountain Minds

Water Fountain Minds

A device for the control of decorative water flows
Single causes with no exceptions, long roads with no exits
With everything for some, the only way to win, is not to play
Money spent is just another vote of approval
My insurance policies are my corporate sponsors

Lest we forget who we are, better we build roads to our homes ourselves
Never replenishing anything the Natural World freely provides us
Is the best definition that defines the meaning of no co-operation
Talking about problems use to work, now it only serves as entertainment

Flipping on our water fountain minds, money is heroin for the mind
Like another brick in the digital wall, thinking thoughts is not enough
With no connection to reality, we marvel at our consciousness
We think, therefore we are, a gift supposedly only meant for people
We pretend new discoveries, but all we do is copy Nature,

Forgotten by discrimination, we don’t even know, we know nothing
As the Sun goes round the Earth, the center of nothing, but lost arts
New fires burn daily with smoke, the new light of day
This planet, oasis rocky with water, a naturally wayward station
Born again is bartering without profits, just right for wandering souls
Those that really care always trying, without help, they have to work harder
Always burning out, we only remember to praise them

About this poem
