Awakening

Larien Evokai 1987 (Walsall)

It's small starting, the moments are fleeting
But my past is slowly deleting...

The harsh words, the untamed memories
Sitting on the edge of a unknown shore.
They used to make the hurt worse.
They used to make me flee into the deepest part of me.
I believed the words of hate, over the words of love and kindness,
now I see the grip is slowly releasing my hands they are free my body still to go.
I can feel the cracks in the chains, my heart is able to beat. My guilt is submitting.
I'm learning to forgive my ignorance, I shouldn't of hurt others because "they" hurt me.

I see prismatic light in my mind the colours fighting back against the dark.
Im awakening...
