Living For A Seed

What got you through
The days you can't remember
A vision for a hope?
No
A plant so green and tender

For the softness of the leaves
How she relates
To me
But alive as she may seem
My soft plant can not speak

Yet, I relate to her
More than anyone concurs
For she was so abused
Her menthol tears so
overused
That little bitty me
Said
“I really love mint leaves.”
For little bitty me
Was living
For a seed.
