While reading

An empty stage, blank it begins,
a new universe is born.

Slowly, its world is revealed,
Its sunsets, its mountains, its fields.

As these pages turn, I find,
new world, new wisdom, new lives.

Step after step reveals the love,
The friendships that people feel.

The stage sets, the act begins.
As the story continues,
The world fades away,
and another bloom in here,
within these pale pages.

Word after word it draws me in,
with is twists and turns,
a witty reply,
the swift return.

These winding roads to the mountain pass,
Makes me forget of the time that I have,
page after page, the stage is cluttered.

New pages reveal the end of the road,
and with closure,
the curtain closes,
The stage is gone.
