AND THIS WAS DEATH
MAHVISH NAAZ 2003 (Hyderabad)
The first lie,
The first evadaded sight
What more can kill you,
What more can heal you,
Every smile asked the tag,
Every tag has its own price,
No penny was in vain,
Every tear drop came after smile,
No day was left behind,
I showcased smiles,
That pretty smiles ,which costs high,
For the sake of sky,
The walk of lionesses,
Even heard,
The talks of cats,
Giving fake confidence to oneself,
Was death better than that,
Wearing crowns, gowns,...
Gave me thousands wounds,
Was that a better kife,
The royal rings,
Were like pins in heart,
Reminds the lies of heart,
Art was the smile,
Which hides that little worried eyes,
Handling swords was easy,
Than the talks of crazy,
And the mirrors turned,
And again that was death,
Showed the real faces,
Hopes and faiths dropped easy,
Leaving you alone was not easy,
But the journey was crazy,
Riding horse was easy,
But walking alone was.....
The moment i felt i won the battle,
That was the death,
I left my crown,
The treasure of the throne,
The treasure of wise and clones,
The one waiting with white rose,
The one smiling on every my every tone,
Was on ground,
The lion i feed,
The eyes i saw in greed,
The garden where i picked roses and throns,
The wolf back of my wounds,
Even that was easy,
But that shadow of self,
Hopeless and dazed looking,
Into the mirror,
Giving replies to self,
That killed me forever,
The glory of peace,
I reached,
When i came out of the mirror,
And the last smile to self was pure,
And this was death to self,
And this was death...
About this poem
It's about death to a selfless girl she lived for others, and when it came to self she died with a smile. I think it's life...
