Word of hope

      WORDS OF HOPE
Oh angel of death, riper of soul
The god and the keeper of Sheol
Mankind greatest fear, the uninvited guest
To kill, is your greatest quest

Life ends at your presence and touch
Killing every creature in your clutch
Your footprint leaves sorrow
Someday you will be gone, maybe tomorrow

Striped of its power, made a prisoner
Bound in chains, forever a loner
Smitten by joy, defeated by life
All that breath will forever be alive

Sooner than later, in days ahead
This saying would commonly be heard
The men would say, the women sing
Oh death where is thy Sting.
