I Could Rant Forever

We don't deserve
Anything good,
For we are
A wicked mess of horrible
Capabilities.
Just look at us,
The terrible beings we are,
And just look at all
We say and do.
We kill our people,
Our own kind.
We kill innocent creatures
Just for entertainment
Of some sort.
We kill our world
And we will be
The very center
Of the destruction
Of our world.
We harm each other
In ways so unimaginably awful;
Why would we
Want to do this?
Why is violence
And sin
And evil
Such a regular part
Of our lives?
But I know why.
We want our hurt
And pain
And suffering
To be shared,
So we just dump
All our problems
On some poor,
Innocent being,
Hoping it'll solve
Everything,
But it doesn't.
We are evil things,
We don't deserve
Anything but death
And torment,
For we are horrible creatures,
And we will not
And should not survive.

About this poem

There's a lot of times when I've felt disgusted with the world, and I wrote this a while back during one of those times. I wrote it in all caps because I was so angry.
