Cathedral Of Light

Rays of sunlight danced freely as they pierced through the canopy above

While gold and orange fell upon the world in a downward spiral

The leaves fell with the grace and awe of the stars above

As I watched in astonishment in this cathedral of light

The warmth of God’s benevolent sun kissed my skin

And Tranquility washed upon me like the river over its bed

About this poem

Wrote this after reflecting what my most peaceful moment in my life was. It was a warm Fall day in a hike in my woods with my dog Beau.
