The New Beginning

Donwan 1970 (New Jersey)

The New Beginning
I know it's hard to trust someone when the magic feels so right.
When I gave you a call things seems so bright.
At last I push you apart, into someone else's arms?
I know I am the one to blame,
At last within my darkest hours a light still shines bright.
What is it? Is it an apple, or is it an orange?
No! No! It can only be one thing.
It's a pumpkin, someone that captured my heart.
Once again we are here at the start,
Never again should we part.
Because we both know what is in our hearts.
