Cries

This is the song Ann Murray sings called "A Little Good News".  I just changed the words to insult her.  No disrespect Ann.  Trevor

Somebody from Saskatchewan
said the News is on today
Somebody who has no experience
who thinks that hate is News today

Somebody with a fear of life
who says everyone can die
Somebody saying sacrifice
is all we are to why

How can I ever go to school
when the News thinks I am smart
How can I ever say to them
that I'm okay with all their art

How can I ever look them in
the eye and say I'm hurt
How will I ever know to be
a viewer with a dirt

How can I ever sacrifice
what I am meant to be
I'm just a viewer with
a penchant naturally

Take me to where the sky is blue
and the people not as New
I'll never say to them
that I will ever sue

I walk around and take my time
to ask for things
Not to the people in the power
that I am left to string

How can I ever vote for love
when they are saying all were lies
How can the News go on today
when I am growing so damn wise

Somebody in the News today
said I am known for my cries
